Magis - Cividale del Friuli
The two grapes that make up Nero Magis - Merlot and Pignolo - are harvested and vinified at a distance from each other, starting with Merlot, the first to ripen. Maceration in wooden vats, where both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation complete. The wines, whose first harvest was that of 2014, are placed partly in first passage barriques and partly in second passage barriques, to remain there for twenty-four months, when they are combined to form the Nero Magis. A long aging in bottle follows.
